FOUNDATION
The non-profit Fondazione – Centro Studi "Nicolò Rusca" was established with the act of notary public Federica Giazzi of Como, dated 6 March 2003, rep. num. 2725/1486, Tax Code 95074170135.
It is located in Como, on via Baserga, no. 81.
In conformity with its statute, Fondazione - Centro Studi "Nicolò Rusca" handles the preservation and utilization of the document and book assets owned by the diocese and the seminary of Como; allows for their consultation; promotes the publication of the periodical «Archivio Storico della Diocesi di Como»; and organizes one or more annual conventions.
It also performs the tasks of the Historic Archive of the diocese and the Diocesan Seminary Library – qualified as 'Biblioteca diocesana' – as far as regards the safeguarding and supervision of the historic archival and book assets of the parishes and other associations and ecclesiastical bodies within the jurisdiction of the Diocese of Como.

In addition to the founders, this initiative has been made possible thanks to the significant contributions of Fondazione Cariplo, Cavaliere del Lavoro Antonio Ratti, Bennet SpA, the Banca Popolare di Sondrio, and the Chamber of Commerce of Sondrio.
