Centro studi Nicolò Rusca

Launched in 1987 within the scope of the initiatives for the 16th centenary of the founding of the Church of Como, the periodical «Archivio Storico della Diocesi di Como» seeks to promote interest in the history of the lake diocese through the publication of materials and essays on the regions into which the territory is divided.
Starting from no. 7 (1996) it is divided into two sections, "Fonti" and "Studi", the former is reserved for the publication of documentation that has never been published before or archive inventories, while the latter is reserved for research on moments and people in diocesan history. Every volume is completed with a "Rassegna bibliografica" of studies of an historic and religious nature regarding the territory of the Diocese of Como (including the region of the Ticino Canton) over the course of the previous year.
